To the beat of Brady

Vibrant and a little mischievous. Tender-hearted, yet wonderfully stubborn—my son, you have always been your own kind of magic.

You came into this world three weeks early, before we had the diapers, the bottles, or any sense of being ready. But you didn’t wait for readiness—you arrived on your time. And ever since, you’ve lived life to your own rhythm, your own beat, your own beautiful way.

I remember the fear when they rushed me in for an emergency C-section, telling me your tiny heart needed help finding its steady song. Even then, you were teaching me something: that your life would never follow anyone else’s timing—only the one written just for you.

There is something extraordinary in you. The way your imagination stretches beyond what is, into what could be. The way you turn ordinary moments into adventures, the way your laughter fills every corner of a room. You don’t just see the world—you transform it.

People are drawn to you. They feel your light, your energy, your spark. And those lucky enough to be loved by you know the truth beneath it all—that even in your stubborn, defiant moments, your heart is so full, so deep, so fiercely loving.

And oh, the love you give… it’s the kind that heals, that lifts, that reminds me who I am on the days I forget.

I truly believe when God created you, He placed a little extra wonder in your soul. The world needed your brightness, your boldness, your magic. And I needed you—your hugs, your laughter, your light on my darkest days.

You are not just part of my story, my son.

You are one of the most beautiful things this world has ever been given. ✨
